Appropriate Materials For Reinforcement

The biggest mistake in reinforcing concrete countertops is using a material that does not actually provide sufficient tensile strength to the beam. Material used for primary structural reinforcement of a concrete beam should conform to ASTM A82 "Steel Wire Plain, For Concrete Reinforcement".
